Dedicated to the memory of June Searle

This site is a tribute to June Searle. A wonderful Mum and Nanny, now re-united with the love of her life. As mum didn't like flowers, we are asking people to make a donation in Mum's memory, instead of sending flowers.

We hope to keep this memorial going, and welcome your memories of Mum, in order that her grandchildren, Cassie, Georgie, Jack, Chloe and of course Alfie have a lasting memory of Nanny xx

Thank you in advance for your memories and donations

Love and Best Wishes

Daryl and Catherine xx

Thoughts

Hi I am Janet I worked with June for about 15 years . We worked together in the staff canteen in sainsburys edmonton and then at enfield . We had so many laughs as you can imagine trying to get june to make cream slices was a challenge june didn't want to make them because she didn't think she could but after a few words and a few fffs as was June's way we successfully made them .. Another time when were at enfield i was called from the coffee shop to the staff restaurant poor June was in a panic when i got there june was up to her knees in soap bubbles as were the rest of the staff in the kitchen someone had put washing up liquid in the dishwasher instead of rinse aid . We went on holiday with my sister to Wales we had a great time . Thought we would go up the great Orm we had June in the wheelchair we pushed her up to the cable car got on all was well until we got off we didn't realize how steep the hill was two of us pushing and not making much progress but alovey coach driver came to our rescue sand we made it to the top and the coffe shop . We threatened to let her go on the way down but of course we were told off . JUNE WAS A LOVELY FRIEND ALWAYS READY FOR A CHAT ON THE PHONE GOODBYE MY MATE XXXX

Extract from a poem by Henry Scott Holland I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other, that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant; it is the same as it ever was. Thank you ever so much for choosing to support the work of the British Lung Foundation by creating this Breath of Life Fund online tribute in loving memory of British Lung Foundation. We hope that you find it a positive experience developing your page and that it becomes a place of comfort and inspiration for you to visit whenever you want or need to. It has been designed to be a truly lasting tribute for perpetuity for future generations to see.
